EGR Deactivation

EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) helps reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) by recycling exhaust gases into the intake air, aiding in faster warm-up during cold starts and lowering exhaust gas temperatures by around 100 degrees. However, it can lead to coking of the EGR valve and intake manifold, reducing intake duct diameter by up to 1 cm. Deactivation permanently closes the EGR flap, but note that it's not permitted on public roads and should only be used for tuning or on private property.
